i have been eating a lot these days.
well. who cares. but after having the atherosclerosis lecture, i m starting to wonder. are my arteries turning like that soon? hope not.
I got an injury on my leg a few days ago, around 6cmX2cm of my epidermal layer is gone (stratum corneum, granulosome, basale? cant remember sem 1 stuffs. haiz). The photos shown on the slides during my lecture looked like the one on my leg. all the acute inflammation, neutrophils... it's amazing to learn that all these things are taking place while i m sitting around eating char siew pao.
just to note, i always have fresh new cuts or bruise (abrasions? lacerations?) every two to three days. guardian plasters are cheap in both price and quality. but at least it looks like my skin colour, less noticeable.
I cant believe in less than 7 weeks i will be having one of the toughest exams in my life. no it's not stpm. but this one is quite life threatening as the result of failing the exam is unimaginable (well. i will try not to.) i have to remember and understand all my sem 2 stuffs, and on top of that, 100+ notes from semester 1. I think I will be very smart by the end of this year.
They always say med school is 5 long years. But for me, it's 5 short years. TOO SHORT! HOW TO REMEMBER? Even my holidays are like less than one month plus in one whole year.
but the most important thing is, i know i will not regret for what i chose. at least for now. :)
